Simple Solutions To Morning Stiffness In Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid Arthritis is a joint problem which is caused by inflammation, a condition triggered by adverse immune reaction. 1. Take a warm bath: The heat from the water will help to temporarily boost blood circulation in and around the joints as well as the muscles. This will freshen you up, combat morning stiffness and help you get ready for your daily activities.

2. Get physical activity: After getting up from bed, try to go out for a walk or light jogging for just 20 minutes. This may sound strange – after all a stiff body needs more rest, right? On the contrary, engaging in light physical activity is the most effective way to counter morning stiffness and have a sparkling start to your day!

3. Have a good breakfast: Another way to tackle joint stiffness is to have a proper breakfast. This will provide your body the energy it needs to overcome the stiffness in the affected joints. Eat plenty of dairy foods like milk, cheese and yogurt along with fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Having a nutrient-rich diet is, after all, one of the most important steps in fighting Rheumatoid Arthritis.
